The Cathedral of Barcelona, also known as the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, stands as an awe-inspiring architectural masterpiece in the heart of the city. Each Chapel inside the cathedral is 9 metres high, 79 metres long, and 25 metres broad.93 metres long, 40 metres broad, and 28 metres high are the exterior measurements. The Barcelona Cathedral was constructed using a variety of sandstones, granite, and reinforced concrete for the naves. The majority of the vaulting is made of thin masonry timbrel. The cathedral's interior is decorated with a Gothic structure of interconnected apses.

The centre nave, two side aisles, and all three are joined together, however, the aisles stand out from the nave due to their noticeably lower ceilings. More than 140 saints, including the Virgin Mary and Santa Eulalia, the city's co-patron saint, have monuments and chapels inside the Barcelona Cathedral. The Santa Eulalia Crypt is also visible in front of the High Altar. The high altar is located inside the Barcelona Cathedral, which was built during the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries and offers a clear view of the crypt.

In the crypt of the church is where Saint Eulalia's remains are interred. Saint Raymond of Penyfort, Count Ramon Berenguer I and his third wife Almodis de la Marche, Bishops Berenguer de Palou II, Salvador Casaas y Pagés, and Arnau de Gurb are all buried in the church. One of the highlights of Barcelona Cathedral is the side Chapel of the Holy Sacrament and of the Holy Christ of Lepanto, built-in 1407. It is thought to have a cross inside that was there during the Battle of Lepanto. The number 13 white geese kept in the cathedral's cloister alludes to Eulalia's age at the time of her martyrdom
